NCHU Gender Equality Education Day Response Activity – Exhibition, Reflection, and Action.
On April 20, 2000, the tragic incident of Yeh Yung-Chih, known as the "Rose Boy," profoundly awakened Taiwanese society to reflect deeply on gender-related issues. Twenty-two years later, April 20 officially became Taiwan's "Gender Equality Education Day." This day serves as a reminder for society to reflect upon gender stereotypes, gender discrimination, and inequalities in rights, encouraging the pursuit of gender justice through education, reflection, and proactive measures.
