Student Research Paper Award
- To reward students for actively engaging in research, each student shall be awarded an amount ranging from NT$3,000 to NT$50,000.
- Applicants must be current NCHU students whose paper was published during their course of studies.
- Applicants must be the first or corresponding author of the thesis.
- The thesis must be a full academic journal article published in SCI, SSCI, A&HCI, TSSCI or THCI.
- The completed application form must be attached with an offprint of the published paper (or an acceptance letter with the finalized article), signed by your advisor, then submitted to the department officer and Dean for approval and forwarded to the Student Life Division.
- Students must apply within 1 year after acceptance or publication. For papers published during a school break, students must apply within 1 year of recommencing their studies. Overdue applications will not be accepted.
- Students who pass the review for this award will still be eligible for other scholarships.
- The reward will be revoked and rescinded if an awarded paper is found to be in violation of academic ethics.
- The Ministry of Education has established a "Beware of Predatory Journals and Conferences" topic teaching package on the "Center for Taiwan Academic Research Ethics Education " website, which provides online courses, literature and related resources, etc., and continues to select important information to supplement and update. Please take advantage of it.
