轉僑委會函:落實僑生生活輔導照顧,強化學生安全防護教育

(一)夏日將近,僑生結伴從事戲水活動機會增加,請特別提醒僑生留意水域安全,選擇安全水域戲水,以免溺水憾事發生。

(二)網路詐騙事件層出不窮,為維護僑生人身安全,請向僑生加強宣導防詐觀念,以免受騙或遭利用誤觸法網。

(三)青年學子喝酒不僅影響身心發展,違反實習安全相關規範,更可能危害生命安全,為保護僑生不受酒精毒害,請鼓勵僑生建立良好生活習慣,並培養正向興趣,從事有益身心健康之休閒活動。

(四)僑生在臺求學及工讀實習,交通活動頻繁,為避免交通事故發生,請向僑生加強宣導道路安全法治教育,培養正確用路觀念。

(五)僑生來臺就學常面臨因文化差異、語言隔閡,造成生活上的適應問題,又因同學來自各國,群體生活並易產生摩擦及衝突,請提醒僑生如有因此受到同儕或國人誤解,致有滋事或挑釁行為,應即通知師長並尋求警察機關協助,避免正面衝突,以確保其生命財產安全。

(1) As summer approaches, the chances of overseas students engaging in water activities increase. Please remind overseas students to pay attention to water safety, choose safe water areas for water activities, to prevent drowning accidents from happening.

(2) With a constant rise in online fraud cases, in order to safeguard the personal safety of overseas students, please strengthen the promotion of anti-fraud concepts among them, to prevent falling victim to scams or inadvertently getting involved in legal trouble.

(3) Drinking alcohol not only affects the physical and mental development of young students, but also violates safety regulations related to internships, and could potentially endanger their lives. In order to protect overseas students from the harm of alcohol, please encourage them to establish good lifestyle habits, cultivate positive interests, and engage in leisure activities that are beneficial to their physical and mental health.

(4) Overseas students studying and working in Taiwan have frequent transportation activities. To prevent traffic accidents, please enhance the promotion of road safety and legal education among overseas students, and cultivate the proper concept of using roads.

(5) Overseas students coming to Taiwan for studies often face adaptation problems in daily life due to cultural differences and language barriers. Additionally, as classmates come from various countries, group living can easily lead to friction and conflicts. Please remind overseas students that if they are misunderstood by peers or locals, leading to disturbances or provocations, they should immediately inform teachers and seek assistance from the police to avoid direct conflicts and ensure the safety of their lives and property.
